I love toys and I love designing and making them. More specifically I love sewing plush creations of all kinds. My major in college was sculpture and I made my focus in fabric. I do other sculptural and furniture type pieces, and I am getting into some fashion design as well. My second favorite medium to work with(besides fabric) is wood or fiberlgass. It's hard to decide between the two.
I'm energetic and quirky, and like to think that shows in my work. My inspiration comes from the things around me and I don't particularly have a certain style that I absolutely love over another. However, I did find my calling in this world through some inspiration from Claus Oldenburg and my love for sewing. One of my favorite, current, artists is Heidi Kenney.
Making my audience happy is what excites me about creating my work, and is what will continue to be my drive in the art world.
